A sad man in a blue box

Once upon a time, a strange man from Gallifrey
Stole a blue box, a spaceship, and flew away.
He travelled amongst the stars and crossed universes
Flying back in time, avoiding paradoxes.

He fought Daleks, Cybermen, and the Sontarans
Tricked the Slitheens, defeated the Silurians
He counted the shadows, warned people not to blink,
Every time, he tried to do his best, I think.

On his way, he made many good and fearless friends.
They travelled across the cosmos and reached its ends.
Some of them went away and some were left behind,
But they all trusted the Doctor, he was so kind

They never wanted the Doctor to be alone!
So, if you cross the path of an old blue box, shone,
Please come in, and meet its brokenhearted Time Lord.
Cheer him up, make him laugh, and, well, welcome on board!





(Wow am I becoming a Romantic Geek? I can feel the melancholia…Oh Doctor…ALL THE FEELS. Hope my alexandrines are fine…I haven’t written a poem since AGES, and certainly not in English XD)
