Bones and feathers

First, I wanted to draw a vanity. Then, I wanted to add a bird...and I love robins. So...I did something like this.


We have some symbols here:

~The blue rose doesn't exist in wild. She symbolizes the mystery, achieving the impossible and she's able to bring youth to the person who owns she.

~The robin is the martyrs' bird, in the christian symbolic.

~The Skull symbolizes, of course the vanity of time, the death which is waiting each of us.

~The crown...well. An other religious symbol. Suffering and mockery

Well I hope you'll enjoy it! I love the vanities! I'm interested the fight between the Time which is flowing like water, uncatchable, and our desperate attempts to stop it and escape this ephemeral condition.
